Here we are, back again and on a major mission to keep gazillions of Larisa fans right up to date with everything that Larisa is doing, where she's going and sometimes even what she's thinking. Remember, Celebrity Sightings really is the only place where you can be sure you're getting the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about all the celebrities featured on the site. So how would you pluck up the courage to ask Larisa to the Prom? Would you email her? Call her on the phone? Surprise her in school? The very next day Larisa wrote a big "Y E S" on the windshield of his car... in SHAVING CREAM!! So what have we got lined up for you this month? Well we've got some very exciting news! You may even want to sit down for this... except you probably already are right? First off we are taking you behind the scenes at Larisa's recent school prom! That's right the dress, the date and the story behind the entire evening are revealed right here, right now. Then fire up the printer 'cause we're going to let you in on 10 things about "10 Things I Hate About You," Larisa's much anticipated new movie! Finally, we're gonna go MAD and tell you about some of the latest shows where Larisa's been spotted. So if you're ready... let us begin!

FUN AT THE FORMAL So how would you pluck up the courage to ask Larisa to the Prom? Would you email her? Call her on the phone? Surprise her in school? No way dude. Larisa's date for this year's prom was much much more creative. First, he arranged for one of his friends to take Larisa out for a walk so he could be sure that she was out of the house. Then he rings on the door and sweet-talks her Mom into leaving a message (and a flower) on Larisa's pillow for her when she gets home. Now that's what we call advance planning and it seems like his tactics worked like a dream because the very next day Larisa wrote a big " Y E S" on the windshield of his car... in SHAVING CREAM!!

Just in case you're wondering how CS gets all this inside info it's because we just happened to be hanging out with Larisa and her mom on the big day!

THE BIG DAY At about 5:00 p.m. on the day of the prom, Larisa was picked up at her house by Dave, who presented her with a dozen red roses AND a wrist corsage of white roses (how romantic is he?). Then it was off to eat, dance and party at one of San Francisco's swankiest hotels. In fact it seemed that the whole of San Francisco was going to a prom that night with party dresses, stretch limousines and tuxedo's everywhere!

As you can see from these exclusive never-before-seen pictures both Larisa and her date turned on the style for their big night out. Dave looked pretty darn smart in his black tux, and Larisa was simply stunning in a floor length dress featuring multiple shades of blue with quarter-inch thick velvet straps! The dress was completed with awesome sheer blue netting trailing from mid-thigh to her strappy black platforms which you may have seen before in the people Magazine picture from The Cable Ace Awards.

Larisa even took the time to help Dave out with his buttonhole to make sure it was straight!

By the way if you're wondering where the dress came from, Larisa told CS that she fell in love with this mona lisa design in a store in Los Angeles called Ron Herman at Fred Segal.

Q. Ok how many teenagers can you fit into a limo? A. A whole bunch!

The whole evening was filled with dinner, dancing, partying and of course all of Larisa's girlfriends spent a major amount of time dishing the gossip about who was with who and who was looking cute. She told us they made at least 15 trips to the bathroom! "I had loads of fun at the prom because I went with a really great guy. He was a sweetheart." Ok but before you all start to ask, here's the deal. Larisa's date was a friend before the prom and he's still a friend now. So there!

At the end of the prom a whole bunch of people headed over to one girl's house where they continued to party the night away. "We went with all my senior friends and I was just so happy. It was just really really fun to have one last big night out with all of them. I am going to really miss all of these girls that I have become friends with over the last year." Larisa said she had an amazing time at the prom but now it's over she is going to be concentrating on her SAT's scores and on her latest role.

10 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT "10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU" WHEN and WHERE? -Larisa has just left to begin filming a new movie in Washington State. The shoot will last 12 weeks and Larisa is totally excited and totally thrilled. She screamed "Oh my gosh I am so PUMPED! WHO DOES SHE PLAY? — Larisa plays the role of Bianca the younger of two sisters. While her older sister Kat is much more serious and closed off, Bianca is little miss popular in school with a ton of admirers. Unfortunately Bianca cannot date any of the guys in school unless her sister gets hooked up first and that's when the fun begins! SO WHO'S THE HOTTIE? — Well funny that you should ask, because our very own Andrew Keegan will be playing the role of Joey who has a big old crush on Bianca in the movie. Does Andrew get the girl? You'll just have to wait and see! 3rd ROCK IN THE CAST — Andrew and Larisa will be joined by the very talented (and cute) Joe Gordon Levitt from "3rd Rock from the Sun." Celebrity Sightings hopes to bring you a special report from the set of the movie and maybe even a guest chat with Joe. Watch the calendar for details. "MY NEW BEST FRIEND!" — Completing the principal cast is 17-year-old Julia Stiles who you may remember from her work with the oh-so-dreamy Brad Pitt in "The Devil's Own." Larisa and Julia have already bonded in a major way. "She's Awesome," says Larisa, "I've already spent some time with her and I love her already. She is an amazing actress." TAMING OF THE WHAT? — The idea behind the movie is based on the story of "The Taming of the Shrew" by William Shakespeare. A shrew is a small shy rodent (kind of like a field mouse) found mainly in Europe. WHAT DOES LARISA THINK OF THE PROJECT? — She is stoked! "The story and the script are so good. There are a lot of high-school type movies coming out in the next year, I've read some of the scripts and this one is so cleverly written. It's a smart high school movie that I hope everyone likes!" SAT's — Larisa and Joe will be taking some time out during filming to be tutored on the set and to take their SAT II's so it won't be all fun and no work. Yikes! That doesn't sound like much fun : ( WHEN CAN I SEE IT? — "10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU" is a Touchstone release of a Disney movie. We understand that it is likely to be in theatres by early 1999 but it hasn't be confirmed yet. WHAT'S THE STORY MORNING GLORY? — Well we're not about to give a way the entire plot BUT ultimately "10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU" is a story about people and how they are seen by others. It's about the various persona's that people take on and make for themselves and how in reality, people are not always how they first appear! A ROCK STEADY BEAT

Now with all this movie stuff going on, as well as online chats, interviews magazines like Teen People and TV Guide, it's pretty amazing that Larisa finds time for almost anything else. But as all you guys know, she can always find enough time for a concert!

The latest big show to rock her world was Madness in Oakland. Madness were supported by the Aquabats, Royal Crown Review, Dance Hall Crashers and Blink 182, and Larisa (who everyone knows is into ska) had always wanted to see this classic English band. She told us that all the bands were awesome but Madness "just blew my socks off — my friend Julia and I were just flipping out screaming 'we are seeing Madness!' As soon as they started off with "One Step Beyond" we just FLIPPED OUT."

If you've already stopped by this months edition of Up Close you'll know that Larisa always tries to pick up a cool T-shirt or baby-T from the show but this time it didn't work out. "When I went to see Madness a) the T-shirts were all huge and they didn't have girl ones and b) the line was ginormous and the designs that I liked were sold out." Larisa did however manage to get a poster, which is now hanging on her wall at home!
