Written by Jeff Parkin and Reed McColm, the movie tells the story of a merged family reuniting on Christmas Eve. For the first time in seven years, the family reunites only to discover that matters have gone worst between the family members. More complications arise, including the arrival of an unexpected boyfriend, an unannounced live television broadcast and the revelation of well-kept family secrets.

    Larisa was a gracious young actress who complimented us sincerely on our home and thanked us for its use. She was always friendly and respectful. I asked her one night if she could talk to neighbors gathered to watch the filming. She looked genuinely disconcerted, and said “Me?” “Yes, you, they want to meet a real Hollywood actress.” “But I’m just a, just a…nobody.” I grasped her arm and steadied her across the street to meet the group. I could hardly believe this was the same person who starred as a confident young woman in “Ten Things I Hate About You”. She was just genuinely humble.
