Thanks to Sheri (lene26) from our message board who found the following in the atimefordancing.org discussion section we now know what's going on with ATFD. Here is a response received from Aura Entertainment.
Dear Krista,
Thank you for your interest in A TIME FOR DANCING.
The film will have its US debut on Showtime at some point in the fall, the exact date has not yet been decided upon. Video release plans will follow shortly after the films Showtime premiere. Consult the Showtime programming guide or check back toward the end of the summer for further details.
